Women of St. Philomena Parish: Come socialize and learn how to create your own potted plant container for the spring and summer. St Philomena’s very own Master Gardener, Polly Wagner, is going to teach us about planting a container for sun and shaded areas around our homes. We are getting together for the last time before summer this Thursday, April 25, (tomorrow), at 7:00pm until 8:30pm. Join us for a fun and relaxing evening!

Join us at St. Philomena Church, Sunday, April 28, at 3pm as we celebrate the devotions of Divine Mercy Sunday. There will be Eucharistic Adoration and singing of the Divine Mercy Chaplet. There will also be priests present to offer the sacrament of confession. For more information, see our event by clicking here.

There will be a special collection for the St. Philomena School Tuition Assistance Fund next weekend, May 4 & 5. This fund helps the parish provide scholarship dollars to families who send their children to our parish school. It is our practice and belief that any parish family who desires to send their children to St. Philomena School will not be turned away for lack of finances. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support.

Are you interested in being an usher at Mass? Or are you already a member of our usher team, but not on our usher email list? Speak with Father David after Mass or contact Rhonda Parker in the parish office. Thank you for your interest in this important ministry.

Sr. Mary Rose Bingham, OP, from the Nashville, Dominicans will return to St. Philomena Parish in June 2019 to offer Catechesis of the Good Shepherd training for parents, teachers and catechists.
