Deacon Blake Ordination Information

Deacon Blake’s Ordination to the Priesthood is fast approaching! Please continue to pray for him. Since it is so near, we want to share information with you about Masses and blessings around that time. And if you have questions, please ask.

 May 23, 2026 | 10:30 a.m. | Ordination

Ordination will be at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception. This is a ticketed Mass. Space is limited and you must have a ticket to attend. However, you can watch and pray for him and Deacon John Paul through the livestream on the Diocese’s YouTube Channel: youtube.com/@peoriadiocese5860/streams

May 24, 2026 | 10 a.m. | First Mass

The new Father Blake will celebrate his first Mass at 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at his home church, Holy Trinity, 711 N Main, Bloomington. All are welcome to attend Mass. There will be a light reception after. Holy Trinity is located in downtown Bloomington and there is some construction going on currently in that area, please plan for that as you travel.

May 30-31, 2026 | Preaching + Blessings

Throughout the weekend, Father Blake will preach at and offer blessings after all Masses here at St. Philomena. More details about this will be shared soon. But, in the meantime, save the date!
