Holy Week 2026

Holy Week begins on March 29, 2026 with Palm Sunday. Blessed Palms will be distributed at each Mass that weekend. Please bring your old palms to church and place them in the marked bin in the main vestibule. These will be burned at Easter Vigil Mass.
Adoration Chapel:
- The adoration chapel will close at 6 p.m. on Holy Thursday and reopen after the Easter Vigil Mass on Holy Saturday, around 11 p.m.
Confession Schedule:
- March 30, Monday of Holy Week: 6:30 p.m., evening confessions with eight priests.
- April 1, Wednesday of Holy Week: 5- 6 p.m., regular Wednesday confessions
- April 2, Holy Thursday: After 7 p.m. Mass (around 8:30 p.m.), no morning confessions
- April 3, Good Friday: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- April 4, Holy Saturday: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., no 8:30 a.m. or 3 p.m. confessions
Holy Thursday:
- No morning Mass or confessions.
- Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7 p.m.
- Confessions after Mass (around 8:30 p.m.)
- Church and Altar of Repose open until 11 p.m.
- Bishop’s Pilgrimage around 10:15 p.m.
Good Friday:
- Parish Office is closed
- Good Friday is a day of Abstinence (ages 14+ refrain from eating meat) and Fasting (ages 18-59, eat only one full meal, may eat two smaller meals that do not equal a full meal)
- Confessions: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Meditation on the Seven Last Words: 12 p.m.
- Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary: 1 p.m.
- Stations of the Cross: 2 p.m.
- Divine Mercy Chaplet: 2:30 p.m.
- Veneration of the Cross, Reading of the Passion, Communion: 3 p.m.
- Tenebrae (Evening Prayers): 7 p.m.
Holy Saturday:
- No morning Mass or confessions
- No 3 p.m. Confessions
- No 4:30 p.m. Mass
- Confessions: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Easter Vigil Mass: 8 p.m.
Easter Sunday:
- Mass at 7:30 a.m., 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 7:30 p.m.
