Shoe Drive Concludes

Thank you for your amazing response to this summer’s shoe drive. Please, do not bring any more shoes to the church. We are no longer collecting them.
If you have shoes you want to dispose of, we encourage you to take them to the nearest Goodwill where they will recycle what they can’t use.
Each week since the beginning of June our volunteers took 10-12 large, black garbage bags full of shoes to Illinois American Water. This week, our last, we had at least 20 bags.
Thank you again for your support. We are happy to provide opportunities for our parishioners to give back to the community.
