Stop by the school’s kickoff to summer book fair from May 20-24. Everything is buy one, get one (BOGO)! Items available for as little as $1. Don’t have time to stop in at the book fair? No problem shop online by clicking here. Or, send money with your child on their library day the week of May 20th for them to shop with. Don’t have cash? Set up ewallet to allow your child to shop at the fair without having to worry about money getting lost. This short video will show you how to set up ewallet in just a few easy steps.

The annual crowning of Mary took place at the May 3, 2019 school Mass. Our second grade students presented flowers to the altar of Mary and two eighth graders were chosen to crown Mary at the beginning of Mass. This year’s honorary Mary and Joseph are Mary Breitbach and Trey Spiller.

St. Philomena’s track and field teams participated in the Illinois Elementary School Association (IESA) sectionals on Saturday, May 4, 2019 held at Elmwood High School. The students listed below had performances which qualified them to compete at the state-wide final meet on May 10 and 11, 2019 at EastSide Centre in East Peoria. Congratulations to all of our students on a great season and your positive representation of St. Philomena School.
