Mrs. Kelly Moyer

Starting with the 2023-24 school year, Mrs. Kelly Moyer joined the staff of St. Philomena School as the music teacher. A native of Bettendorf, Iowa she received a BA in music education from Augustana and a master’s in music education from Illinois State University. Kelly has taught general music and choir since 2009 in Galesburg and East Peoria.

Kelly lives with her husband and daughter. In her spare time she loves reading, playing violin, plants and succulents, and brush lettering.  Fun facts about Mrs. Moyer, “I play violin professionally in the area, I love all things French and have been to Paris twice!”
