Junior High Student to Perform with ILMEA District II Band

A big congratulations to Eddie Couri! Eddie auditioned for Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA) District II band last Saturday in Geneseo, and he has been accepted. On November 10 there is a festival at Augustana College where he will rehearse all day, and perform a concert in the early evening with other 7th-9th graders from District II (Illinois side of the Quad Cities to Ottawa with Peoria being one of the most southern cities). This is a great honor.

Gate will open at 1:00pm. Enter campus at the Twelve Oaks entrance north of the rectory / back of the parish center. Entry fee is a donation to the Women’s Care Center: newborn blankets, pacifiers, teething rings, board books, printed onesies, diapers, baby wipes… Volunteers will be at the gate to collect your donation.
Trunk or Treating will begin at 2:30pm. Be sure to have enough treats for 400 little goblins. Open to ALL parish families, not just school.
Peoria Notre Dame Information Night

St. Philomena Parish will host an INFORMATION NIGHT for parents and students interested in Peoria Notre Dame High School. The event will be on Monday, October 1 at 6:30pm in the Parish Center. We have been working with the admissions office at Peoria Notre Dame to help our parents and students, and all families, learn more about what PND has to offer early on, not just in your child’s 8th grade year. Come with all of your questions, the folks from PND are ready and willing to answer them for you. Questions ahead of time? Email admissions@pndhs.org.
Auction 2018: We Need Your donations!

AUCTION 2018 St. Philomena will hold its 21st Annual Benefit Auction on November 10, 2018. For your convenience, Liz Renick and Caroline LaHood will be on the playground to collect donations before pick-up on Tuesday, September 25.
