St. Philomena Cords

The St. Philomena cord is a devotional item worn by someone as a reminder of St. Philomena as well as to ask her prayers. We also prayed a novena for her intercession and on the 9th day received blessed St. Philomena cords from Fr. David. The cords are made of red and white threads with a knot on either end, reminding us of both her martyrdom and purity.
