Miss Bridget Kelly

Miss Kelly joined the St. Philomena Faculty for the 2021-22 school year after earning a degree in Elementary Education with an ESL endorsement from Bradley University in 2021. She is a Peoria native and has two brothers, one is her twin, two sisters and a dog named Yadi. Outside of school time, Bridget enjoys hanging out with friends and family, spending time outside, especially at the pool, or cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals. Fun fact: Miss Kelly is a St. Philomena graduate, class of 2013.

Mrs. Sally Kincaid

Mrs. Kincaid has taught fifth grade and junior high math at St. Philomena since 2002-03.  In 2019 she was honored for her 30 years of teaching experience which includes third through eighth grades as well as art.  Mrs. Kincaid is from Manhattan, KS and earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Kansas State.  She has two daughters, Chelsea and MacKenzie.  Mrs. Kincaid enjoys watching sports, especially the Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Cardinals, swimming and being in the sun, traveling, and Starbucks.

Mrs. Alison King

Mrs. Alison King joins the faculty for the 2023-24 school year. She began teaching in 2004 and has experience in grades K-3 and special education. A native of Rio, IL, Alison is a graduate of St. Ambrose University with degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education. She and her husband, Thad, have four children: sons Kaiser and Kason, and daughters Blair and Blythe. Outside of school Mrs. King loves spending time with family. She also enjoys playing and watching sports, being outside and reading. Mrs. King's favorite things.

Mrs. Deanna King

Mrs. King has taught at St. Philomena in the STEM Center since 2008-09.  She is from Peoria and earned a degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State University.  Mrs. King has two daughters and one son.  Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family. Mrs. Stephanie Lewis

Mrs. Lewis began working at St. Philomena in 2018-19 with our Care Program. She transitioned to a kindergarten classroom aide in 2020-21. Before her time at St. Philomena, she had a 25 year career as a floral designer. Mrs. Lewis is a native of Dunlap, currently living in Peoria with her husband Chris, son Gabe and dog Willow. In her spare time she likes to cook, read and spent time with her family.

Mr. Rick Mathern

Mr. Mathern taught PE at St. Philomena starting in 2016-17. In 2020-21 he transitioned to a classroom teacher for 5th grade. He has been teaching since 2007 and has taught kindergarten through twelfth grade students during that time.  Mr. Mathern is from Bismarck, ND and earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Studies Education from University of North Dakota.  He is married and has four children, Daniel, Leo, Diana and Rosalind.  Mr. Mathern enjoys coaching wrestling.
