Marriage Workshop
21 Feb 2026
Saturday 09:00 am to 02:00 pm
Venue - St. Philomena Parish Center
Married couples at St. Philomena Church and School are invited to a marriage workshop led by Mike and Alicia Hernon of the Messy Family Project. The target audience for this workshop is parents who are currently raising children.
This event is possible due to a grant from the Fulton Sheen Endowment Fund through the Diocese of Peoria, no fee will be charged to attendees. Lunch will be provided. Due to the long day, child care is not available.
Mike and Alicia share, “When we started our parenting journey in the early 1990s, we looked hard for someone to tell us the perfect way to be a parent, but then we finally realized – there is no perfect way! After launching some of our ten children and with some still at home and now with grandkids running around, we have found that parents actually never stop learning. Nevertheless, even though being a parent is difficult, it is not impossible. We are passionate about families and we are here to give you hope!”
