Food Drive for Sophia’s Kitchen

For this year’s service project, the SPS 6th graders will organize a food drive for Sophia’s Kitchen. All parish families are invited to participate. While school families will have themes for each day of donation week, church families are invited to bring items from the list below to the boxes in the Link from Nov 7-13, 2026.

Rice, cereal, pasta, sauce (no glass jars), granola bars, potatoes, stuffing, boxed meals (pasta & sauce, rice & vegetables, tuna, relish & mayo, etc.), coffee creamer, chocolate syrup, hand lotion, nail polish, spices, canned/pouch meats (tuna, chicken), hot pads, oven mitts, cooking utensils, can openers (not electric), packaged paper towels, toilet plungers, packaged toilet paper, Kleenex, detergent, dryer sheets, Clorox wipes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, hygiene products, canned fruits and vegetables, canned pineapple.

Remember, no glass please. Pop/pull-top cans and pouches are extremely helpful, as many recipients do not have can openers. Please have all items donated by Nov 13, 2026 so the students can make their delivery the following week before going on Thanksgiving break.
