(June 22, 2022) St. Philomena Catholic Church is excited to host an opportunity for readers of all ages to stock up on good books and meet the authors and illustrators who have created them! On Thursday, July 28 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the St. Philomena Parish Center, we will offer an open-house style event featuring thirteen local Catholic authors. Each will have books for sale and will be available for signings and photos. Throughout the morning, the authors will also offer readings, story time, and Q&A about their books. Kids activities for little budding authors and illustrators will be set up, and a used book swap will be available to all. The event is open to the public and free to attend.
