Advent by Candlelight is an enchanting evening as women gather together in joyful anticipation of the birth of Christ.
This year’s theme, Venite Adoremus, Come Let Us Adore, is inspired by the year of St. Francis. He initiated the simple arrangement of a living nativity to help people ponder the simple, humble, poor entry of Jesus our Savior into this world.
Two nights are being offered, hostesses are asked to please choose one when registering. For both nights, doors open at 5:30 p.m., welcome is at 6 p.m.
Thursday, December 3, 2026 – set up is Wednesday, December 2 from 5 – 7 p.m. or Thursday, December 3 from 8:30 – 11 a.m.
Saturday, December 5, 2026 – set up is Friday, December 4 from 5 – 7 p.m. or Saturday, December 5 from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.
Registration begins Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at 9 a.m. and can be done in person at the parish center, or by calling 309-682-8642. Please do not email us. Early registration is not accepted. We will need a hostess name, phone and email to register. Also requested are the names of each guest at the table. If you do not have all guest names, those can be collected at a later date. A table can accommodate no more than eight people (hostess plus seven guests). Cost per person is $25.
