About Us
St. Philomena Parish is a Roman Catholic church and school established in 1945, located in a family neighborhood in Peoria, IL.
Bringing Faith to Life and Life to Faith
Our Parish is home to 1380 families. Our school currently serves 470 students from preschool through eighth grade. Our community has a vibrant faith life, love of Christ our Lord, and commitment to serving the Kingdom of God. We joyfully welcome new members into our parish family.
Mass is offered daily, the Sacrament of Reconciliation weekly and by appointment, marriage preparation, anointing of the sick by appointment and weekly ministries for ongoing Christian formation for all ages.
Our youngest members are welcome to our children’s chapel and nursery located inside our church near the sanctuary. This location enables parents and children to see and hear the goodness of the Lord while having the freedom to move, crawl, toddle, and nurse.
The church parking lot, church, and parish center are handicap accessible. Hearing devices are available.
We invite you to join us for Mass, pray in our Perpetual Adoration Chapel, participate in our ministries, come to an event, and explore our school.
