\"\"This Mission, from March 9-13, 2024, will be led by Fr. Luke Spannagel and will focus on the Eucharist.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Fr. Luke will preach all Masses at St. Philomena on March 9-10. Then, on March 11-13 we\u2019ll begin with Mass at 5:30 p.m., followed by talks in the church. No advanced registration is needed.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Fr. Luke may be familiar to St. Philomena parishioners as he is in residence here and helps with Mass and confession as his schedule permits. Fr. Luke is a National Eucharistic Preacher with the National Eucharistic Revival<\/a><\/strong>. “The National Eucharistic Preachers are a diverse group of priests who have been commissioned to enkindle the flame of Eucharistic faith and devotion in the United States through kerygmatic Eucharistic preaching.”<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

March 9\u00a0 – Children’s Lenten Holy Hour<\/strong><\/p>\n

Families are invited to join us in the banquet room after the 4:30 p.m. Mass. We’ll gather for dinner and then move to the church for adoration, prayer and music to sing praise to Jesus. Children will be guided through prayer time and songs. Dessert will be served in the banquet room after prayer.<\/p>\n

How Jesus is Truly Present in the Eucharist, and how Eucharistic Miracles remind us of what our Faith says is always true.<\/p>\n

March 12\u00a0 – Explanatory Mass: Sacrifice of the Mass and Our Participation (CLICK HERE<\/a> for the video feed)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mass at 5:30 p.m. will be an Explanatory Mass. Fr. Luke will talk us through each part of the Mass and help us understand how we can participate more fully. He will discuss how Jesus is the perfect savior on the cross and how the Mass is our participation in the One Perfect Sacrifice.<\/p>\n

March 13\u00a0 – Fruits of Communion (CLICK HERE<\/a> for the video feed)<\/strong><\/p>\n
