While this blessing can be done by anyone in their own homes, we priests are offering to come over and bless them for you.<\/p>\n<p>The blessing consists of using holy water to bless the house along with using blessed chalk to write above each doorway the traditional symbol 20+C+M+B+24. This represents the three wise men (Caspar, Melchior, and Balthasar) along with the year: 2024. This blessing is a reminder that just as the three wise men welcomed the child Jesus into this world, so may He be welcomed into your home.<\/p>\n<p>We are offering this blessing throughout the month of January to honor this tradition. <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.signupgenius.com\/go\/5080948A5AB2AA0FF2-46828676-newyear#\/\">CLICK HERE<\/a><\/strong><\/span> for the sign up or contact the parish office, 309-682-8642.
