As we understand from Christ’s teaching, stewardship is a central part of discipleship. For Catholics, discipleship means living one’s life patterned on the life and teachings of Christ as revealed in Scripture and as taught by the Church. As disciples, then, Catholics are called by the Lord to be good stewards.<\/p>\n

Stewardship is how we live our discipleship. As a disciple of Jesus, we can choose to use our time, our talents<\/em> and our material goods<\/em> to help build His Church here on Earth. As stewards of these gifts, we are ultimately accountable to God for the way we choose to use them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
