(November 16, 2022) Join us in a great New Year’s resolution that will change your life – let’s read the entire Catechism in a year! St. Philomena is excited to invite our parishioners and friends to join us in reading the entire Catechism of the Catholic Church together using “The Catechism in a Year” podcast with Fr. Mike Schmitz beginning January 1, 2023.
By listening to this podcast, we will:
- Read the entire Catechism in 365 days
- Understand the essentials of the Catholic Faith and why they matter
- Transform our relationship with the Church that Christ founded
Each of the daily episodes will be about 15-20 minutes long, making it easy to listen for your own personal listening, with your family, or with a small group.

Fr. Mike also leads the podcast, “Bible in a Year,” which launched on January 1, 2021. We invite you to take part in this popular study as well. The format is the same, daily episodes about 15-20 minutes long.
